How’d you like to get a venti-sized ownership in an actual NNN Starbucks, land and building? For about the price of a few caramel macchiatos you can actually own a portion of this restaurant. They serve coffee, tea, a great breakfast and lunch, and some even serve wine and beer. Now they’re also serving up a 4.5% to 5% dividend yield annually (credited to you monthly, paid or reinvested quarterly). This Starbucks is in a 10-year lease extension that has bumps for the next 5 year period. Our plan is to buy this, then sell it with a new lease in year 10. While we cannot guarantee any return, if you re-invest your dividend income the sale of this asset should give us a good total return. We’re aiming for about 7% to 8% per year, net of fees.
